About Platinum & Palladium Prints

Platinum and palladium prints are photographic prints that use platinum and palladium as an alternative to the familiar glossy black and white print made using silver halide and gelatin. These matte prints are known to be the most durable of all printing processes because both platinum and palladium are noble metals, meaning they don't rust or corrode. A print made using this process will last hundreds of years.

Most prints available here are Ziatypes, a modernized version of traditional 19th century processes perfected by Richard Sullivan in the labs of Bostick & Sullivan in 1997.
